Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Mole app and its supporting services. By using Mole, you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

The service

Mole provides local notes, threaded annotations, AI conversations, and tools that convert conversations into editable Markdown notes. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on or sharing it. AI responses may be incomplete or incorrect and are not professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

Anonymous service access

Mole does not require registration or login. The app creates a random, anonymous installation identity to protect remote AI usage and credits. You can permanently delete its cloud data in the app. Deletion forfeits unused credits and does not delete notes stored on your device. Restoring purchases after deletion does not recover those credits. Future subscription periods and new purchases remain eligible for credits.

Subscriptions and credits

Purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Mole Pro renews automatically for the period shown at purchase until canceled in your Apple account. The full renewal price and period are shown before confirmation. Pro credits renew monthly; separately purchased credit packs do not expire while the anonymous cloud identity remains active. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Deleting Mole does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings.

Acceptable use

Do not use Mole to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, abuse the service, bypass limits, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or identities. We may restrict service access when reasonably necessary to protect Mole, its providers, or other people.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Mole available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to network or AI features. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
